We all have our own stories to tell. We all go through difficult times. We experience ups and downs in life. However, we often hesitate to bring our stories into the world, or we don’t know how to express them, or we fail to structure our thoughts into a storyline, or we simply lack practice.
There is a song sung by Narayan Gopal: “Kehi mitha bata gara, raat tyasai dhalkaidaichha; bhare feri ekantama runu ta chhadaichha,” which means, “Come, let us talk sweetly; the night is passing by anyway. Later, we will have enough time to cry alone in solitude.”
We all carry stories of grief, and grief remains a permanent part of our lives. Sharing grief makes us stronger, more hopeful, and more optimistic. This book, Like Water on Leaves of Taro, is a meditation on loss—a story of grief that ultimately brings hope and optimism into one’s life. The book is also available on Amazon.com
