I want pond like love
Where one can see one’s face
Where sun and shadow make friendship
Where from rays of rainbow rise
Where peace and calm prevails,
Where age is a number,
Sea of humanity persists.
Yes I want that love
I give that love.
But I don’t want wind like love that rushes toward me,
By spoiling the color of the sky,
The wind, which does not have a direction,
Nor is it consistent in motion,
Nor does nature have with it any relation though it can be deemed nature by itself.
Because wind uproots a tree
Pond quenches one’s thirst
Wind deserts the sight
Pond touches one’s eyes
Hate is the relationship of humankind with wind
The eyes never leave hugging the pond.
Yes I want the pond like love
